Last night we celebrated the Eve of the Feast of the Holy Epiphany, with Water (Lakkan) Prayers and a Holy Liturgy. Led by H.G. Bishop Angaelos our evening was filled with so many great and wonderful blessings. As we celebrate the joyous Feast of the Holy Epiphany today, let us remember that the baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ was not just an act of humility, but it was a glorious moment in history when the Holy Trinity was witnessed by humanity!
We wish for you and your family a very blessed and enjoyable Feast of the Holy Epiphany. God bless.
“When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.'” – Matthew 3:16-17
